Many exciting activities for people of all ages ranging from Quilt Shows, Adult Tricycle Races, Bar-B-Q Cook Off, City Wide Rummage Sales, Mud/Sand Volleyball Tournament, Parades, Car Show & Shine, Alumni Banquet, Street Dance and much more!
Creighton -Creighton Berry Pepper Days are held the 3rd full weekend in June each summer. Visitors to the celebration take part in a Road Rally, Legion Baseball Tournament, Free Swimming, Ice Cream Social, a Family Day in the park, Rib-Fest, Grand Parade, Kiddie Parade, Road Rally, Fly-In Breakfast, VFW Breakfast and the Legion Chicken Feed. Saturday night join us for our annual Street Dance on Main Street. On Sunday you can start your day with a Community Worship Service at the legion baseball field. Many new events are added each year. Berry Pepper Days are hosted by the Creighton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Bloomfield is the host of the Annual Knox County Fair held in early August. It has been rated amongst the top three fairs in the state of Nebraska. It features four nights of fun-filled times. You will have the opportunity to see some of the top-billed performers in country music for four nights of the fair. The fair also features one of the finest midways around and has a livestock and exhibit show as good as you will see in the Midwest. Niobrara -Bridging the Shores Celebration is held the first weekend in June. This event was started on August 29, 1998 when dedication ceremonies for Chief Standing Bear Memorial Bridge were held on the South Dakota side of the bridge at the overlook. Activities include Car Cruise, Walk/Run Fun, Car Show and Shine, Cutest Kids Contest, Remote Control Car Races, Hotdog Eating Contest, Inflatable Carnival, Pool Party, Road Rally and much more!
Verdigre -Kolach Days, a festive celebration of Verdigre's Czech heritage, was actually conceived in 1939 and sponsored by the Czech Federation. It became an annual event in the 1950's. Past festivities have included a Carnival, Bands, Dancing, Kolach Baking Contest, Kolach Eating Contest, Turtle Races, Kiddie Parade, Grand Parade, Flea Markets, Stage Productions, Basketball Tournament, Mud Volleyball, Various Shows and Demonstrations, Tractor Pull, Bull-O-Rama, Alumni Banquet, & crowning of the new Kolach Queen. It continues as an annual event held on the second full weekend in June.
Wausa - Labor Day Weekend Celebration has been a tradition in Wausa. Each year's activities vary as well as the number of days (1 -3). In recent years the celebration has been a one-day (Sunday) affair packed with events for all ages. Activities include a Beef Barbecue, Car Show, Community Worship Service, Kiddie Carnival, Food Court, Ice Cream Social, Petting Zoo, Model Airplane Show, Skydiving Exhibition, Horseshoe Pitching Contest, Sand Volleyball Tournament and a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. The evening finale typically is a local Talent Contest, a Play Production, a Magic Show or a Musical Performance.
